We'll be the first to admit, when chokers made their return to fashion, we were very hesitant to venture into the same territory (some of us) wore over 20 years ago! But then, we discovered the many possibilities and varieties that are offered today. Colors, styles and textures are much more chic and sophisticated than their 90s counterparts. And while you still may be a little tentative, we hope these four examples will change your mind!
Contrasting Color or Print
Pairing one of our round tassel necklaces with a bright colored top or patterned dress is a modern and more mature way to pull off the choker look. It looks effortless and casual by not drawing too much attention to the necklace itself.
Shown here are our Round and Round Tassel Necklace in hot pink, Swing into Summer Tank in paradise blue and the Oopsa Daisy Swing Dress.
Monochromatic
Pairing a choker with the same colored top is the easiest way to sport the high-neck trend. Try a multi-wrap look to add a little more substance to the overall look.
Shown here are the Round and Round Turquoise Embellished Tassel Necklace with Plum Perfect Stitched Kimono and Perfect Undershirt Camisole. Also shown is the Black Round and Round Rainbow Tassel Necklace with our Cold Shoulder Piko Top.
Take the Guess Work Out
Still not sure how to pull off the choker trend? Take the guess work out and try one of our beaded choker necklaces. The draping and layering is already built in for you! Just add a coordinating top or dress and you're all set!
Shown here is our Beaded Tassel Drape Necklace in peach and Blush Crochet Cold Shoulder Top.
Be Creative
Have fun with the choker trend and try tying a long wrap necklace into a bow or knotting it together. When you pair this with a classic silhouette, such as a tank dress or simple tee, you can go more bold with the choker.
Shown here is the Round and Round Rainbow Tassel Necklace in ivory and Piko Tank Dress in ocean blue.
